INCURA UPDATE ..Studio Blog # 8
Hellllloooooooooooooooo everyone!! Just wanted to fill you in on what INCURA has been up to! I ( Kyle INCURA) have now returned from California where Arnold, Evan, Jim and I were putting the final touches on background, and gang vocals. We slept, drank, ate and never really left the studio while we were there. It was a really good way for us to focus our time. We wanted to get everything we could out of the last few weeks and made these creations come to life. We're done. No more going back to track. Its all in the hands of Arnold Lanni, and CoaltionEnt. In saying that, we do know that you will be hearing NEW material early 2012!!!!! INCURA has always focused on building a strong foundation of creativity, music and art to really push us forward. The new musical monster we are about to unleash must be handled with care.. ensuring fans will get everything they deserve when listening to the music. THIS MUSIC IS FOR YOU and we promise to always put 110% into making it push the artistic envelope. INCURA is so excited to bring you new music, new shows, new videos, new, merch, new tours and few early really cool surprises we have in store for you for 2012. Throughout December INCURA will be taking time for family and friends while mixing and mastering are completed. Kyle INCURA and JimCURA have signed onto a musical comedy review show in Alberta for the month of December and have already started rehearsals. We can wait to get out and see you all in 2012!!!!!! much love INCURA STUDIO BLOG #7 Yes, we said that our last studio blog MIGHT be our last.... BUT...looks like we got a few more on the way!!! The rumors are true....Everything about the new INCURA recording is FINISHED !!!! BUT.... Producer Arnold Lanni has asked if we could get back down to Cali and do all the BACK GROUND VOCALS AND GANG VOCALS. So it looks like we'll be getting on a plane to L.A at the beginning of October and spending a while down there singing our hearts out. NO release date for any recordings have been announced, though if you catch us live we may sneak a few new songs in at shows. To answer some questions... YES, a guest vocalist may be appearing on one of the recordings, this will not be announced until the recordings are finished ;).... and YES, INCURA will be playing a live show before the end of the year. We hope to be showcasing one recording around this time so keep your ears to the ground ;) If you have an other questions please feel free to ask!!! Thanks for sticking by us while we pour everything we are into these recordings... much love, Kyle INCURA Studio Blog # 6 First off INCURA would like to thank everyone who came out to our home coming show in Vancouver!! The show was such a good time!!! So many people and sooooo much energy!!! As soon as INCURA got off stage , they set plans for the next trip to California to finish the record. Kyle Incura has travelled on his own this time to finish all the gang vocals and back ground vocals. Everything else is DONE. A few guitar noodles and synth parts must be added... BUT other then that,INCURA'S debut label release is almost done being tracked. I (Kyle Incura) have spent the last 2 days finishing up a few last minute lyric and melody changes before stepping into the vocal booth. Producer Arnold Lanni is right here beside me to aid in the process. Also, good friend/ brother Evan Morgan is here assisting Arnold, sitting behind the console engineering every last min. Incura could not have done this record without him <3. I'm excited to get a bunch of local acts to come into the studio and sing the gangs vocals. It will be exciting to hear a large group singing with me..... and it only gets me MORE excited to sing these songs live and have EVERYONE sing along. This very well could be the last studio blog. When finished I'll fly back to Vancouver and take some time off. Arnold will continue to mix and sprinkle a bit of Lanni magic all over the tracks. We hope to have the record out by fall!!!! INCURA would like to thank Coalition/Warner Brother records for taking a chance on a project that is a bit off the beaten path. Most of all INCURA would like to thank all of our friends and fans for supporting and believe in us from day one. Its now time to get this record out and tour tour tour tour tour and tour. Studio Blog # 4 Vancouver was beautiful. We really had a good time up on the Canadian west coast. We Took a lot of time to tighten up all the music and getting lyrics and melodies finalized. Its time now to step into the studio and start really tracking this record. Incura is SOOOOOOO excited to have friend and producer "Evan Morgan" along with us this time. Evan produced our last instalment " The Lost ep" and award winning track " Here To Blame", he's a vital part of the INCURA family. He will be engineering and assisting Arnold Lanni on these new recordings. We arrived here in Temecula and took a day to get some food and get settled. We are now waiting for Arnold to arrive and put together a game plan for the next month. We will be posting studio videos once a week to show everyone whats going on throughout the process. INCURA Studio Blog # 3 Last week we ended up at the studio everyday. Unlike the week before where we were at the house really trying to get the songs in order, this week was all about perfection. When making this record we really wanted to know our songs inside and out. We don't wanna be thinking about the parts we are playing, We don't wanna have to try and remember chords, melodies, or rhythm during our recording process. Fun, and creative is the state of mind Incura is setting out for when making this album. To do this we are taking time to get our parts perfected and make sure we know note for note, not only what we are doing individually ..but as a band as well. The little things like, piano riffs, little guitar runs and noises, are what will make this album stand apart from the rest. Incura will be heading to Vancouver B.C for 14 days to add the final touches of song writing into the project before heading out once again to California. Beautiful places such as the rain forests of Deep Cove and the beautiful Pacific horizon of the Sun Shine Coast is where I (Kyle) plan to write and finish up most of my lyrics and melodies.

STUDIO BLOG #2
We have been here California for about a week now and we thought it would be a good idea to say HI to everyone!! so HI!!!!!! hahhaha, We have picked all the songs that are going to be on the record and are pumped about it. All of us are staying in a house together with a jam space set up just off of the house. There is nothing around us for miles so we can really get focused and write the music we wanna write. We get up in the morning, eat a bit and head right to the jam space taking only a few breaks until the late eve. After we kinda have the song arrangments down pat we, will be moving over to the studio to start really focusing on the little details needed to make this record stand out above the rest. Make sure to keep writing WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM you....we'll keep the updates coming along:)

STUDIO BLOG #1
INCURA is taking some time off live shows and touring to start the process of writing and recording the next installment to the INCURA discography. Starting January INCURA will be heading to California to work with Arnold Lanni ( Our lady Peace, Finger 11 ) multi-talented producer, engineer, musician and songwriter. He has worked with numerous Canadian and US recording artists. Arnold is the only Canadian to receive both a Diamond award (1,000,000 copies sold in Canada) for his production, as well as writing a 1 Billboard single. Arnold’s contribution to the recordings listed below have resulted in worldwide sales of in excess of 5 million albums
We will be updating on our process as much as we can while in the studio. We really want to keep fans informed about whats going on while we're down here. A lot of video will be taken and used for updates and for a live in studio DVD. This recording is going to take a few months to finish so please be patient with us. We hope to have the album out in Canada by this summer supporting a national tour. Please message us while we're in the studio, we LOVE to hear from everyone. If you have ANY questions about whats going, the process or questions about the band please ask and we will answer in our next studio blog post.
